The brand new resort Nira Alpina hotel (www.niraalpina.com) has opened its doors in the eastern Swiss region of Graubünden. Located above Lake Silvaplana, a short 10 minute drive from St Moritz, the resort is linked via the Corvatsch cable car to the highest ski lifts in the region, shared with St Moritz, providing access to the most challenging ski runs.

The spectacular five star Carlton Hotel in St Moritz (www.carlton-stmoritz.ch) have just unveiled their very own Bobsleigh for use on the resort's 1722m long bobsleigh run, the world's oldest and the only one still hand made from natural ice each winter and officially therefore the world's largest ice sculpture.
