Legendary Val d'Isère institution Dick's Tea Bar (www.dicksteabar.com) has had a major makeover and introduced a brand new comfy après-ski bar, open from 4pm.

Val d’Isere will stage its ‘Pistes Gourmandes’ gourmet event this month from 21st - 24th March 2011. Devoted to discovering ethical and authentical products there will be leading chefs and food writers in resort, giving fun demonstrations, tastings, cookery lessons, exhibitions, street festivities, ice sculpture, fruit and vegetable carving.

Anyone who appreciates the best of French food and some of the country's best skiing should book a stay in Val d'Isère during the resort's famous Pistes Gourmandes festival which will be held from 21st – 24th March 2011.
