Resort Profile For Risoul

High and sunny with a genuine French atmosphere

Situated in the Foret Blanche ski area in the Southern French Alps, Risoul offers access to some of the most picturesque slopes in the Alps. Its remote location – Turin, Genoble and Chambery airports are all 3 hours away - equals relatively quiet slopes. The resort is compact and offers plenty of ski-in/ski-out accommodation. It isn’t the most attractive village. However, a recent refurbishment programme has gone someway to rectify this and together with the development of some wooden chalets have provided a more traditional feel to the resort. It has won French Government awward for its approach to families and will suit most groups. The Apres-ski is lively with a good mix of bars and restaurants. Other facilities include an ice rink and a cinema.
