SkiInfo.co.uk report that Mariah Carey will perform at the legendary season closing concert at the luxury Austrian ski resort of Ischgl on Monday 30 April.

The Welsh Dragon is standing guard on the slopes of the top Austrian ski resort of Ischgl, one of a mighty group of dragons currently creating a stunning spectacle on the resort's ski slopes.

Ischgl in Austria was one of several top ski resorts to have been cut off from the outside world for periods over the past week.

Ischgl's (www.ischgl.com) five month long winter ski season will be launched on Saturday 26th November with an open air evening concert by pop duo Roxette.

Ischgl and its neighbouring villages of Galtűr, Kappl and See have a diary full of events to play out the ski season, maximising their snowsure position in the Paznaun valley of the Silvretta mountains in Tirol, Austria.

Plumbing and heating engineer Tony Walker swapped the tools of his trade of wrenches and plungers for shovels and scrapers to take on the biggest challenge of his life – sculpting a 3.5 metre vampire out of snow in the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl.

The Killers, the American band that first made their name in the UK, will be the stars of the season-closing Top of the Mountain concert in the Austrian resort of Ischgl on Saturday 30 April.
